Tear-Open Bingo Paper

One of the easiest ways to increase your “per player spend” is to add a Bonanza game to your program. This is a great way to increase profits for you, and excitement among players!

Bonanza is played on a covered sheet, such as Surprize Bingo or Casino Tear-Opens.

Before your regular session begins, call 48 numbers and post them on your flashboards. Most bingo blowers have a “Bonanza” or a “recall” mode and will recall these numbers later in the evening when you are ready to play this game. You can also offer Bonanza Master Sheets to players, so they can mark the 48 numbers and take it back to their table to dab their cards.

Sell sheets for your Bonanza game all evening. Many games sell single cards for 50¢ each. The secret for making money with Bonanza is to allow players to trade in cards that they don’t “feel” are winners (after marking the 48 numbers). If they bring you a “bad” card, plus 50¢, give them two cards in return. This keeps them switching and buying more cards all through the game. Be sure to make the prize large enough to motivate players to buy more cards. In a game paying $3600, Bonanza is generally a $300 or $400 game. Some very successful games use Bonanza as their $500 game.

When it is time to play the game, first ask if anyone already has a coverall. If they do, they win. If not, continue calling numbers until someone wins. It’s that easy!
